Charlton Krentz is owner and Managing Director of Krentz & Griffin Group, an international Family Office based across Luxembourg, the Isle of Man and the United Kingdom, as well as holding several directorships and senior level positions within a number of independent organisations.
In addition, Charlton is involved with various charities, and is founder and Chairman of the Manx Benevolent Fund, an Isle of Man registered charity with the objective of providing relief to those facing financial hardship.
He was born and raised in Luxembourg and moved to the Isle of Man in 2004, where, after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, he pursued a career in finance, working with some of the largest and most well known life assurance and banking institutions.
Charlton went on to complete an LLM in Commercial Law and is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, as well as being a Licensed Accountant through the Association of Accounting Technicians, holding the Certificate in Business Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He is an Associate of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, a Member of the Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Institute of Administrative Management and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Charlton was made a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers in July 2021 and was admitted to the Freedom of the City of London in June 2022, being the youngest recipient of that distinction at the time.
